Returning to Townsville it was a lovely to find a number of old and new friends encamped nearby.
First off Laurie, Timmy and Lorraine were arranged so they and Highland Drover formed a corral............. perhaps to protect themselves from the Kellybilly's who were camped nearby?
Cathy & Catherine the world globe-trotters also managed to escape cold and wet Melbourne for a few days in the warm and sunny north Queensland weather and spent a lot of their time updating their iPad apps and sampling some the delights from Townsville's cafe scene including Betty Blue and the Lemon Tart and JAM Corner

Meanwhile the Kellybillys (who I'd first encountered at Calliope River) were terrorising the Riverside Convention Centre in between visits to local beaches, waterparks and rockpools.
