Well things haven't gone exactly to plan - after only 3 days we've had to leave the group we were travelling with because of fuel pump problems. The diesel repairer here in Warrnambool, DM Trucks, was recommended to us and has been very helpful, letting us camp in his carpark (with water and power), we now just have to wait until they have time to remove the fuel pump (apparently a large job), it then gets sent to a specialist which can take up to a week. The worst part is the cost - around $3,000 - PHEW!!#@$
