Have just returned from a week in Melbourne staying with Penny & Ian - lots of shopping and sushi - am ALMOST, but not quite, sushied out! It was good to spend a few days in the city, especially in such a nice leafy area - mature trees in all the streets in their spring greenery.
Saw the ophthalmologist yesterday and he's confirmed that both eyes are bad, with the left having the thickest cataract. He's moved around his schedule and has given me an appointment on 20th November for the left eye - the right to follow a few weeks later.
Am still waiting to hear from the hepatobiliary clinic re their team meeting decision.
